It Was a Thing on TV: An Anthology on Forgotten Television

On this off-topic episode here on Podbean, Greg and Chico do a recap on the second season of The Mandalorian which recently finished on Disney+.

They discuss their favorite moments from Season 2 along with The Child's ..... let's just say taste in food.

Afterwards the duo then turns to recent developments in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with WandaVision launching later this month.

Doctor Who has had many memorable characters in it's almost 60-year history on the BBC. However, not every character can be Sarah Jane Smith, Amy Pond or even K-9. Meet Kamelion, a robot who's apparently not a robot. A character so bad he only appeared in two televised Doctor Who serials but has since appeared in many spin-off Doctor Who books and audio dramas in which some of the plots of them will leave you confused.

While searching for material on a previous episode, we stumbled upon information about a very brief BBC comedy from 1980 capitalizing off of the popularity of Doctor Who and The $1.98 Beauty Show.  Combine the two and you get a series in which nothing outside of blurbs of the episodes exists, Rip Taylor in Time.

"Doctor Who" has been a television staple for close to 6 decades.  One of the oddest entries in the "Doctor Who" canon happened in 1993 with its 2-part special titled "Dimensions in Time."
