In anticipation of the upcoming Amazon Prime series, this episode takes a look at the "blink and you'll miss it" television version of one of the breakout movie hits of 1992.  A League of Their Own had a handful of characters reprising their roles in one-off appearances and its TV fate may have been set in stone by a certain organization.

Our journey to this year's All-Star festivities continues with the 1990 edition, one with great pitching, first appearances by several baseball legends, and a lengthy rain delay.  We'll continue talking about the rain delay on Thursday.

We're rounding the halfway mark in the baseball season and we have three special episodes lined up for the occasion.  First, we watch dozens of legends participate in an old timers game whose participants span almost 50 years of Major League Baseball, the oldest of whom pulls off the highly improbable.

In the early 90s, if you had a beef with someone, you couldn't necessarily take them to a TV courtroom.  Enter a show with boxing, trash cans, and feather dusters, where combatants took their issues to the ring.  The Grudge Match is a show we have wanted to cover for some time and thanks to another podcast, a full episode made its way online recently.

It's Super Bowl Sunday! You could sit and listen to bunch of so-called "experts" tell you who's gonna win between the Rams and the Bengals or you could listen to Greg and Mike talk about who they think will be the key players in Super Bowl LVI. And also they talk about if the Bengals can win this game for the sweet prince Harambe!

They also discuss in the second half of the show the David Letterman YouTube channel, the NFL Draft and the Puppy Bowl!

In honor of the Winter Olympics in Beijing, Greg and Chico do a special live show on Stream Lounge as they watch the 1993 Disney classic "Cool Runnings".

Enjoy as we learn the fine art of bobsledding from John Candy while Sanka tries to keep that lucky egg in check. We can only hope to one day live in Buckingham Palace like Yul Brenner which is the dream for all of us.

"The Big Game" is coming up in less than a week.  Therefore, it's time for our annual look at different happenings related to the game.  First up is a halftime show so bad and disjointed, Pete Rozelle said he never wanted to see Up With People again.  He got his wish and Up With People never did another halftime show after 1986.

In tribute to Bob Saget, the premiere of "How I Met Your Father" on Hulu and the upcoming Super Bowl, we look at a classic episode from the second season of "How I Met Your Mother".

Ted and his friends get stuck going to a funeral on the night of Super Bowl XLI and have to go the next 18 hours avoiding spoilers for the game. But the question is how is everybody going to avoid not knowing what happened in the game and why did Barney blow all his money betting on the Chicago Bears?

Nickelodeon's coverage of the NFL Wild Card was one of the big surprises of 2021 and ended up being a fun broadcast. Like last year we're live watching all the fun as the slime cannons are back in full force!

Greg watches the start of the second half of the 49ers/Cowboys game with Mike joining about a half-hour in as they watch this game go down to the wire with a final playcall that had both of them scratching their heads.

But let's all appreciate the fact we now have a NVP award winner named after a character on a show that we've covered on this show!

Desperate times call for desperate measures.  CBS' ratings were languishing in the late 1980s and early 1990s, so they spent a lot of money to acquire almost every major sporting event of 1990, plus the Winter Olympics of 1992 and 1994.  Most of the events weren't that thrilling, the return on investment wasn't what was expected, and the Dream Season of 1990 was closer to a nightmare.
