'Tis the season for your annual batch of oddball holiday fare!  We start this season with a Christmas special from an animated icon of the 1980s, which has very little to do with Christmas.  Get ready for He-Man's take on the holidays with much of the He-Man universe of characters, including sister She-Ra!

In the early 90s, the fast food chain Rax thought outside the box with its mascot, selecting an animated spokesperson who was middle-aged, bland, monochrome, and going through multiple life crises, in order to attract the adult population.  The campaign failed badly; Rax filed for bankruptcy 3 months later.  Dickety-dee.

We wrap up our Halloween trifecta of shows with some humor, straight from the minds at Saturday Night Live.  In 2016, David S. Pumpkins appeared on a Halloween sketch.  He proved to be so popular that he got his own half-hour special the following year.

It's listener request time!  We received a request to cover Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa months ago, and we finally found a spot for it on our schedule.  When a comet lands in the Old West, the end result is anthropomorphic cows.  Enjoy their adventures in this ABC cartoon from the early 90s.

With this week being the 20th Anniversary of Aqua Teen Hunger Force as a regular series on Adult Swim, we take a look back at the very first appearance of our favorite trio on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

The Aqua Teens looked a lot different when they paid a visit to Space Ghost, Zorak and Moltar. We explain the differences between this and the regular series as the course of classic rock is changed forever in this episode, thanks a lot Space Ghost!

The new TV season is nearby.  One of our favorite shows back in the day was the Saturday morning cartoon preview show that generally aired the night before the premiere of the new fall Saturday morning lineups.  In 1985, CBS went all out, producing an hour-long show with Rowdy Roddy Piper and celebrities ranging from Pee Wee Herman to Herve Villechaize to Captain Lou Albano to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  Who knew CBS' Saturday morning cartoons ran until 2 PM!

The Coneheads was a staple of the early days of SNL and it was later a cinematic release, but there was an animated pilot in 1983 which was a one and done.  Get your sensor rings at the ready as we look at the wacky adventures of Beldar, Prymaat, and Connie Conehead.

It's time for some revisionist history on a sci-fi channel with The Amazing Screw-On Head.  A star-studded cast couldn't get this out of pilot stage.  Maybe it was ahead of its time?

Happy Mario Day this Wednesday!  (Get it, MAR10?)  We pay our respects to this non-holiday by looking at the unforgettable Super Mario Bros. Super Show!  One of us never watched this on Fridays for reasons.

We thought Lil' Bush would be a fair topic for a President's Day episode.  Boy, were we wrong.  For the most part, this aged like bad cheese.  What seemed like a good idea in the 2000s ended up having a very short shelf life, running on one-note political gags from 15 years ago.  We apologize in advance.
