Back in 2021 for the Fourth of July we released The Bicentennial Minute a series of segments done by CBS in primetime between July 4th, 1974 to December 31st, 1976 to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the United States. Later, in 2021 we released a Director's Cut with extra material and now in 2026 for the 250th Anniversary of the USA we release the Super Special Longer 2006 Edition.
This updated edition is over two and a half hours with about a half-hour of new material for 2026 including five segments recently unearthed for the first time in a half-century on Major Garrett of CBS News' podcast.
